My husband initially had a big problem with my Twilightheadedness as you call it (great blog name, BTW). He didn't understand the "whys..." but really doesn't it defy logic? Now he's pretty okay with it and will joke around. He also reaps the benefits of having Edward in my life. :)

I've been timid about writing on this post but nobody knows me and likes twilight anyway! So, what the heck. My husband was anti-twilight (sort of) for a bit but he came around. He likes that it get's me off his back and keeps me occupied enough many evenings so we don't argue about what Tivo'd show to watch! ;) He's been able to catch up on lot's of his car shows and other things that I have no interest in! Yay Twilight - you've made us both happy in my home! VERY happy!

I will say that Mr. Spank has really come around and doesn't roll his eyes NEARLY as much when I sneak out for a matinee. Poor man is going to be miserable when the DVD is delivered to our home...

My hubby is cool with it as long as I don't talk his ear off about it. He didn't understand why I had to see the movie so many time though. He's dealt with other obsessions I've had so he kind of knows what to expect. It's all or nothing with me when I find something I like!

Yeah, my loving husband has "tried" to understand my strange obsession with these books but doesn't really. He was nice enough to go with me to see the movie again this weekend, however he made fun of it the entire time and almost fell asleep 3 different times in the movie. He hasn't realized the benefits of it yet I guess. I do try to keep the time I spend reading the books (again) at home to a minimum, but it still drives him crazy. I'm sure my girl's trip to Forks/Seattle/Portland this summer isn't helping much though!

I had the same issue with the dishes/food thing. He wasn't happy about our usually spotless house being cluttered or the sink full with dishes either, or the laundry not getting done! I just couldn't put the books down, I had to see what was next!

My DH tried to read Twilight. He really did try. He read the first three chapters, closed the book and declared, "I get it. He's beautiful. She loves him. He may or may not kill her." And then turned on ESPN News.

But he has him moments. After putting lotion on our youngest after her tubby and hearing her complain about his cold hands, he said, "Perhaps, I'm a vampire."

To which I replied, "I only wish."

Yes, there are side bennies which is why he tolerates the Edward blanket for my naps.

so my husband has revolted and i'm not longer allowed to talk twilight/rob around him. which means i have to do my bloggy stuff and obsessing at work, and try not to get fired while doing so.

however, Mr. D has a gym class M, W and Fri's until 8pm, so I get a lot done then. Plus I've replaced Tv-time with Rob-time, so i can do some obsessing/blogging when i would have normally watched tv. ALSO.. i give great head and have learned that doing that often makes him forget about the time i called him rob in bed (okay.. i didn't do that.. yet.. but i'm seriously afraid i might.. ay!)

My husband does not stand a chance when it come to a Twilight obsession. We have an 18 and a 14 year old daughter, who are both obsessed! So add me into the mix and you get a triple threat. The 8 year old boy in the house doesn't stand a chance either. Actually if you go to my blog, you will see that the 14 year old has now actually turned into a newborn Vampire.

The first time I read "the books" was last June while on vacation. The husband doesn't usually come with us because we are in AZ for like 4 weeks. But since I was staying with my cousin the kids had their own things to do, and I would just read day and night. One night around 1 am my cousin's husband came down for a snack and couldn't believe I was up at that hour still reading. The next night same thing, but then he just gave me a look. The next night, he "threatened" to call the husband. Whatever. I was made fun of for reading those 3 books in 6 days.
When I got home I was reading them again. The husband was like, didn't you just read those on vacation? I was all-Yes, but you want me to read them again, their might be benefits!

My hubbies cool. He's a huge Buffy, Angel, and all things vampire fan. He missed the movie, and won't read the books, but he put a Twlight wallpaper on my laptop as a surprise and my kids got me the soundtrack for Christmas. I think they all just want to keep me happy. BAHAHHAHAHA Then there are those extra benefits for him to keep me smiling. Oh, and for the record I fed my kids...sure, I burned a few things, but they were fed! Dishes, not so much:)
